DevTech has successfully completed business process improvement and re-engineering assignments for the US Trade Development Agency and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) of complex and multi-agency tax administration processes in the Philippines, Kenya, and Bosnia. Highlighted Federal Contracts

Economic Analysis and Data Services, USAID (2007-12)
DevTech provides full-time data management services to USAID’s Office of the Chief Information Officer. The IT products developed under this long-term service contract include a web-based survey instrument to be used by Federal officials across the government, query-driven databases accessible on the intra- and extra-net, and specialized reporting queries that respond to changing needs of government officials.

Customs Transit Control System in Guatemala, Feasibility Study U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA)/SAT (2008-09)
DevTech designed and pilot tested a GPS-based customs transit control system. The system was designed to operate within the current IT infrastructure, and provides officials the ability to monitor containers crossing the country's borders.

Tax Policy and Administration Reform in El Salvador, USAID (2005-10)
DevTech has provided technical assistance to conduct a benchmarking study of performance indicators, and based on this analysis provided information technical consulting services to design and install a call center.

Environmental Compliance Support Services, USAID (2005-08)
DevTech developed an interactive intranet web-based database to satisfy 22CFR216.10 (Environmental Compliance Management) requirements. The system continues to be used today. CPR available online.

Business Process Improvement, USTDA grant to Kenya Revenue Authority (2005-06)
DevTech applied Business Process Improvement techniques to identify the features to be automated. This process included interviews and documenting more than 16 complex processes. The firm’s consultants worked closely with management to develop a high-level implementation plan. As part of its information technology services, the firm recognizes that legal and regulatory issues must be addressed. To this end, the firm included this analysis so that the agency could succeed in the modernization process.

Tax Administration Modernization Project in Bosnia & Herzegovina, USAID (2001-06)
DevTech led the application of Business Process Analysis and Business Process Reengineering techniques using a sophisticated software program to fully document processes and propose reengineered processes and their automation. DevTech technical experts developed automation plans, full systemization design and architecture, database development, and data processing centralization. DevTech, then, provided support to the installation of a micro-wave backbone to enable the implementation of a paperless filing, processing, and archiving management information system.
