FEATURED ACTIVITIES

• Combating Child Labor through Education in the Dominican Republic II (2007–2011) DevTech is leading a U.S. Department of Labor-funded project to withdraw or prevent 8,500 children and adolescents from engaging in exploitive child labor through the delivery of educational programs.
• Support to the Colombia Timebound Program on the Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labor (2007–2010) DevTech, in collaboration with Partners of the Americas, Mercy Corps and CINDE, is working on a U.S. Department of Labor-funded project to address exploitive child labor in Colombia by offering non-formal education activities.
• Combating Exploitive Child Labor through Education in Central America (2004–2009) DevTech collaborated with CARE on a U.S. Department of Labor-funded project to combat exploitive child labor in Central America.
• Safe Schools Program (2003-2008) was a five-year USAID contract to reduce school-related gender-based violence (SRGBV) in two pilot countries (Ghana and Malawi) and develop a comprehensive framework and tools that can be utilized by donors, non-governmental organizations, and governments to reduce SRGBV.
• Ed Data II (2004–2008) collect, analyze, and disseminate education data through surveys at the household level.
• Hurricane Ivan Social Sector Infrastructure Repair and Reconstruction (October 2004–June 2005) USAID contracted DevTech to facilitate the rapid reconstruction and refurbishment of education and health facilities damaged by Hurricane Ivan during 2004.
• Revitalization of Iraqi Schools and Stabilization of Education (RISE) Project (2003-2004) was a USAID-funded education project that promoted rapid school enrollment and sustained retention in the Iraqi school system. DevTech designed the monitoring system for the project, collected performance data, and reported project results.
• Girls and Women's Education Activity (1997–2003) DevTech provided technical and administrative support services to the EGAT/WID Office in support of Girls’ and Women’s Education (GWE) Activity Objectives.
