DevTech provided support to a variety of programs in the State and Local Programs Support Directorate of FEMA, including the U.S.-Mexico Agreement on Natural Disasters (bilingual support to both delegations dealing with treaty implementation), the National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program (NEHRP), and the Office of Earthquakes and Natural Hazards (reports, studies, advisory committees, expert panels, exhibits, and conferences). DevTech provided research, legislative support, graphics (including mapping), publications (research, writing, editing, and production), strategic planning, and other services, and served as secretariat to the FEMA Advisory Board (policy guidance to the director of FEMA in all agency activities), the NEHRP Advisory Committee (policy guidance to the directors of FEMA, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the National Science Foundation, and the U.S. Geological Survey), and other boards and expert panels.
