In association with Partners of the Americas (lead grantee), Mercy Corps and CINDE (a Colombian research institution), DevTech is replicating the successful Espacios para Crecer (Spaces for Growth) program in Colombia. Under this project, the Team will withdraw or prevent more than 10,000 Colombian children and adolescents from engaging in exploitive child labor.  The project will deliver non-formal educational opportunities for children (ages 6-14), implement strategies to raise awareness about the child labor problem, and support the improvement of education and child labor policies.     

Espacios para Crecer (EpC) was developed under a DOL-funded project (2003-2007) in the Dominican Republic. The EpC Modules adapted for Colombia are:
