The Zambia evaluation represents a collaborative effort between USAID/WID, USAID/Global Health, and the CDC to evaluate U.S. Government programs aimed to counteract and mitigate gender-based violence in Zambia. The authors' recommendations emphasize the roles of groups not traditionally a part of efforts to curb gender-based violence: men, individuals of the middle and upper classes, and those affected by HIV/AIDS.
