Gender Focused Programming

The Safe Schools program developed Doorways: a series of specialized training manuals for students, community counselors, and teachers.
- Developing an integrated framework to combat gender-based violence, particularly school-related gender-based violence (SRGBV) under the Safe Schools program.
- Drafting legislation to reduce gender-based violence for women candidates for political office
- Designing indicators to measure gender equality in enterprise development activities
- Designing programming to incorporate women, disabled persons, and minority outreach in voter education and electoral processes in Namibia
- Implementing activities to increase the level of political participation of women in Bolivia and Guatemala
