DevTech may provide technical services through the Assistance to Basic Education LINK IQC. Potential activities under this contracting vehicle link education with health to improve global health, including child and maternal health, reproductive health, and reduce the incidence of disease, especially HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis. Under ABE/LINK, task orders can procure items associated with the health sector such as medicines and vaccines. Task orders may also include activities related to:
- school-based child health
- school-community based initiatives
- policy dialogue
- health and education management information systems
- social sector reform, including transparency, management and decentralization
- strengthening the capacity and collaboration between education and health NGOs and government ministries
