Assistance to Basic Education (ABE) IQC/Basic Education
USAID (2005-2010)

DevTech can provide services through two basic education IQCs: one full and open competition IQC and one small business set-aside IQC.  These contracting vehicles can be used to access long-term in-country project implementation and short-term technical assistance for assessments, research, surveys, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, workshops, and training.    Task orders may also include services related to procuring commodities such as textbooks, computers, school supplies and repairing or improving schools.

Task orders may address a range of basic education activities including: 

  • primary education and secondary education
  • teacher training
  • education finance & administration
  • school-community development
  • education in predominantly Muslim countries
  • information and communication technologies
  • underserved populations such as girls
  • children in abusive labor situations
  • non-formal education
  • local capacity building
