Phillip Church

Phillip Church is a Senior Economist at DevTech. Dr. Church holds a Ph.D. in development economics and international trade, with a minor in agricultural economics. He served for 25 years as a USAID Foreign Service Economics Officer in design, management, and evaluation of development assistance projects for the U.S. government in Latin America and Asia. Since joining DevTech Systems, Dr. Church directed the USAID Economic and Social Data Service Project, participated in studies on trade capacity building and sustainable development initiatives of the U.S. government, conducted impact evaluations of USAID environmental and food aid programs, researched micro and small enterprises participation in global value chains, and directed the project performance monitoring for USAID and other USG agencies. Dr. Church is an expert in international trade, in agriculture, food and natural resource economics and in local economic development and poverty reduction. He is fluent in Spanish.
