Eugenia Zapata Ortega

Eugenia Zapata Ortega is the Finance and Operations Manager of the Colombia Monitoring and Evaluation Program. Ms. Zapata Ortega received her degree in public accounting with a specialty in investment banking from the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Colombia. She holds a degree in labor rights from the Universidad del Rosario. Since 2001 she has worked on USAID funded projects in posts where she has overseen the administrative and financial components of these projects. In these roles she has worked with significant levels of USAID resources and supported and managed a variety of foreign organizations and consultants. Additionally, Ms. Zapata Ortega has experience with accounting, human resources, financial analysis, business administration and auditing.
