DevTech Systems, Inc.

Founded in 1984, DevTech Systems, Inc. (DevTech) is an international consulting firm dedicated to development. We have provided advisory services and technical assistance to government, private-sector, and civil society stakeholders in more than 100 countries.

Our functional areas of technical assistance include business process re-engineering, capacity development, cost-benefit analysis, data collection, evaluation, informational technology system design, knowledge management, organizational development, performance monitoring, and statistical analysis.

DevTech has adopted the Mandelbrot set to symbolize our work in the developing world, where the complexity of human and social phenomena appears random and unpredictable.

DevTech strives to identify the hard-to-find patterns so that we can implement meaningful and effective solutions that help societies develop.

The Mandelbrot set is a graphical representation of a simple recursive nonlinear equation that generates complex geometric patterns, or fractals, that seem chaotic although they obey some form of order. It is an example of the many phenomena in nature that appear chaotic, disorganized or simply unmanageable yet do, in fact, obey some kind of rule.
